What’s in a name…
BALBOA
Vasco Nรบรฑez de Balboa was the first European to see the Pacific Ocean from the Americas, ushering in an era of a smaller world.
Similarly, we aim to bring the world to your fingertips, providing unmatched access to insights from around the globe.
A City by any other name…
YBOR CITY
Ybor City was unique in the American South as a successful town almost entirely populated and owned by immigrants. The history of Ybor City starts with Vicente Martinez Ybor, born in 1818 in Spain, before eventually immigrating to Tampa in 1885.
The neighborhood had features unusual among contemporary communities in the south, most notably its multiethnic and multiracial population and their many mutual aid societies. We are located in Ybor to pay tribute to the melting pot of cultures that has served as an example for other cities to follow.

Tony loves bringing disparate data sets together to anticipate market disruptions. His focus areas include knowledge graphs, web telemetry, geo, IoT and social sentiment.
